Construction Company
Safety, estimating and subcontractor records, plus a standard job folder through closeout.

- 45 folders
- 1 standard document
- 1 automation
- 5 project stages
Click a folder to open it. Names use example values; you enter your own when you set it up.
What it fixes
Closeout takes weeks
The Closeout Package automation collects warranties, as-built drawings and O&M manuals into one folder to hand over to the owner.
Crews work from old drawings
Current and superseded drawings are separated in every job, so the current set is obvious.
Site records end up everywhere
Daily reports, photos, meeting minutes, RFIs and submittals each have a set place in every job.

Questions
Does the safety checklist replace our safety program?
No. It's a starting point you can edit. Follow your own safety program and local regulations.
Where do the folders get created?
Wherever you choose: a SharePoint library, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, a network drive or office server, or a folder on one computer. FolderCopilot Desktop finds these for you and creates the folders there; your sync service shares them with your team as usual.
Will it overwrite anything we already have?
No. You see every folder and file before anything is created, existing files are never changed, and setting up a kit again only adds what's missing. You can undo a setup.
Are our files uploaded to FolderCopilot?
No. The folders are created on your computer or in your synced drive by the desktop app. Your documents are not uploaded to FolderCopilot to set up a kit.
Can we change the kit or make our own?
Yes. Once set up they're ordinary folders you can change. You can also turn any folder structure into your own kit with "Save a folder as a kit" and set it up again anywhere.
