Why this structure works

Numbering the top level (01-Syllabus, 02-Lectures, 03-Assignments) forces the folders to sort in the order the semester actually runs, on every operating system. Splitting lectures into `Week_01`, `Week_02` folders means notes and slides for a given class always live together, so revision is a matter of opening one folder rather than hunting across file types.

Small Project Adaptation

For a light course load, drop the per-week subfolders and keep lecture notes flat inside `02-Lectures`, named by date. The numbered top level is the part worth keeping.

Large Scale Scaling

Taking several courses at once? Nest this entire structure under a `Semester/Course_Code` parent (e.g. `2026-Spring/CS101`), so every course repeats the same internal layout and you never have to think about where something goes.
