Why this structure works
The structure follows the actual lifecycle of a paper: proposal, sources, data, drafts, review, submission. Keeping `Raw_Data` strictly separate from `Processed_Data` means you can always reproduce your analysis from the original files, and isolating `04-Drafts` preserves a clear version history instead of a pile of `final_v3_REAL.docx` files.
Small Project Adaptation
For a shorter paper with no original data collection, remove `03-Data_Collection` entirely and keep sources, drafts, and submission. The numbered ordering still carries the workflow.
Large Scale Scaling
For a thesis or multi-chapter work, nest `04-Drafts` by chapter and add a `07-Supervisor_Feedback` folder so review rounds stay separated from your own revisions.
