Why this structure works
Naming shoot folders `YYYY-MM-ClientName` makes them sort chronologically and stay searchable by client at the same time. Keeping RAW, Selects, Edited, and Delivered separate means you always know which stage a file is in — and critically, that you can re-edit from the original without hunting for which version you sent the client.
Small Project Adaptation
Shooting for yourself rather than clients? Drop `04-Business` and name shoot folders by date and subject instead of client.
Large Scale Scaling
For a busy studio, nest shoots under a year folder and move completed years into `05-Archive` on separate storage, keeping only the portfolio and current year on your working drive.
